Vishay Intertechnology’s DG469 and DG470 are high-voltage, single- and dual-supply SPDT analog switches. The switches are identical, except the DG470 provides an enable pin, which puts all of the switches in a high-impedance state. The enable maintains a safe state at power up and prevents accidental signal or power shorts.
These devices can be used for signal and power routing in a variety of applications. For instrumentation and power routing, the DG470’s enable pin disconnects both inputs and outputs, guaranteeing that signals and power are not connected until the enable pin is activated.
Specifications include an on-resistance of 3.6 Ω typical and 4.2 Ω maximum with a flatness of 0.4 Ω typical. The devices are rated for 120 mA of continuous current and a 44-V maximum supply voltage rating. Offered in MSOP-8 and SOIC-8 packages, the DG469 and DG470 are priced at $0.70 each in 1000-piece quantities. A datasheet is available.
