Intersil’s ISL6266A chip is a two-phase core controller designed to improve the efficiency and performance of systems based on Intel’s Montevina platform.

Device type: Two-phase CPU core power controller
Features: Intersil’s R3 Technology, which provides fast transient response, high load-line accuracy, and a small footprint
Protection features: overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection; power and thermal monitors
Packaging: 7-mm x 7-mm, 48-lead QFN
Target applications: notebook, server and desktop computers
Pricing: $2.86 each in 1,000-unit quantities
