From austriamicrosystems, the AS1364 low dropout regulator (LDO) delivers up to 1 A while maintaining a dropout voltage of just 140 mV and low noise performance. Designed with portable applications in mind, the LDO also features a quiescent current of 35 μA during operation, which falls to 10 nA during shutdown.

Device type: ultra low dropout regulator
Input voltage range: 2 V to 5.5V
Output voltage range: 1.2 V to 5.0 V (adjustable or with pre-programmed output) Output voltage accuracy: 0.75%.
Output voltage noise: 10 μVrms over the 100 Hz to 100 kHz range or 45 μVrms over the 10 Hz to 1 MHz range (both with external bypass capacitance)
Quiescent current: 35 μA during operation, 10 nA during shutdown
Features: adjustable or pre-programmed output, no bypass capacitance requirement on the adjustable version (but pre-programmed versions offer better noise performance), power-ok output that signals when the output voltage drops out of regulation by 6%, digital enable pin, overtemperature and overcurrent protection, reset output, low-power shutdown mode
