Linear Technology’s LTC3853 is a highly efficient, triple-output synchronous stepdown controller that features coincident or ratiometric tracking that safely powers pre-biased loads. The 4.5-V to 24-V (28V Max.) input range encompasses a wide variety of applications including most intermediate bus voltages.

Features: on-board gate drivers power all N-channel MOSFET stages and can produce output currents up to 20 A per phase with output voltages ranging from 0.8 V to 13.5 V; safely powers pre-biased loads; switching frequency is fixed or synchronizable from 250 kHz to 750 kHz; operating mode may be selected as burst mode, pulse skip, or forced continuous; offers DCR or RSENSE current-sense options, peak current-mode control, on-board 5-V linear regulator, ±1% reference voltage accuracy over -40°C to +125°C, programmable soft-start, power good signal, current foldback
