Vicor Corporation has announced their sales and support network expansion into India, via a partnership with CoreEL Technologies and by opening the Vicor Technical Support Center in Bangalore. The company hopes to invest in the high-growth market and strengthen its relationships with customers and distributors in the area.

CorEL Technologies will represent Vicor at local offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Pune; giving them access to India’s growing communications market. CorEL will also work closely with Vicor’s distributors in the Indian market, such as Future Electronics, SM Creative, and Powertec to meet the power demands of local customers.

The Technical Support Center aims to provide counsel and support to customers in the region and to help system designers reach new levels of power efficiency using Vicor’s portfolio of power solutions, including the forthcoming line of ultra high density Converter housed in Packacge (ChiP)-based components.
