A line of ultra-fast-recovery epitaxial diodes (FREDs) now includes center-tap dual devices. Available in TO-247 and TO-264 packages, the diodes offer current ratings of 15A, 30A and 60A per diode leg and a total current rating for both diodes used in parallel of twice the single diode rating. The parts offer breakdown voltages from 200V to 1000V, as well as very fast reverse recovery times as low as 40 ns at full rated current while maintaining a soft recovery.TO-247 devices are offered with current ratings of 15A or 30A per leg, while TO-264 packaged diodes have ratings of 60A per leg.
