Two new devices expand and enhance the company’s IXD line of MOSFET/IGBT drivers: the dual 2A IXD402 and the single 9A IXD-409. Both are low-side drivers in inverting or non- inverting configurations, and the IXD-F402 can be operated in differential mode. Operation is over a power supply range from 4.5V to 25V, making them suitable for driving IGBTs that require 15V of gate bias. The IXD402 is available in an eight-pin DIP and SOIC, and a 16-pin SOIC, priced at $1.87, $1.60, and $1.77, respectively, each/1,000. The IXD409 drivers come in a five-lead TO-220, eight-pin DIP, eight-pin SOIC, and a five-lead TO-263 priced at $3, $2.04, $1.75, and $3, respectively, each/1,000. IXYS CORP., Santa Clara, CA.
