In the BR series of wide-input-range dc-dc converters, designers have one answer to a variety of power sources, like 12-V batteries and 24-V dc buses. The 1- by 2-in. units have two input ranges of 9 to 36 V dc and 18 to 72 V dc with outputs ranging from 1.8 to 15 V dc. Outputs are tightly regulated across the full input range at 0.02% line and 0.1% load. Pricing in OEM quantities is $20 each.
