Designed to handle high current loads safely with low power dissipation, the Maxi Series of intelligent power switch devices integrate an output power MOSFET with very low RDS(ON) (to 5 milliohms) for lower heat dissipation. Current handling capabilities range up to 75A. The devices' integrated protection features eliminate the need for any external components for protection purposes. An internal slew-rate control for turn on/off and the use of a low-noise charge pump for the high-side device means lower EMI for designers. Ground noise generation of less than 10 µA is also featured. In addition, high-side devices are designed to handle large offsets from logic ground to load or chassis ground that can result from harness or contact resistance or corrosion.
