Designed for low-power portable applications, the TC1305 and TC1306 dual low dropout regulators (LDOs) combine two 150 mA LDOs, one system supervisor, and other features in small MSOPs. Both devices provide a low dropout voltage of 150 mV at 150 mA, a supply current of 200 µA, and a shutdown mode that reduces current to less than 0.5 µA.A proprietary select mode of operation allows users to select one output voltage from two (TC1306) or three (TC1305) different values. Other reported features include low-noise operation, low crosstalk, and a high output voltage accuracy of ±0.5% typical. Operating temperature range is from -40¡C to 125¡C. Prices for TC1305 and TC1306 start at $1.15 and $1.10 each/1,000, respectively. MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY INC., Chandler, AZ. (480) 792-7668.
