Addressing power management in ADSL applications, the PT4800 and PT4840 triple-output, plug-in modules provide all the required power for eight, 16, 24 or 32 channel infrastructure applications. Both modules are claimed to have a 50% smaller footprint than conventional single-output modules. The isolated 25W PT4800 and the 65W PT4840 operate on a 48V input and output 15V for line drivers, 3.3V for I/O and ASICs, and 1.5V for core logic. Other features include internal sequencing, 1,500 I/O isolation, output inhibit, and UL, CSA, IEC and VDE approvals. Price for the PT4800 and PT4840 are $50 and $99, respectively, each/1,000.
