Precise References Have Low Dropout Voltage

Oct. 1, 1999
A family of six low-dropout, precision voltage references (MAX6190/MAX6192/MAX6194/MAX6195 and MAX6198) feature outputs of 1.250V, 2.048V, 2.500V, 4.500V, 5.000V and 4.096V, respectively. Each is available is three grades of output temperature

A family of six low-dropout, precision voltage references (MAX6190/MAX6192/MAX6194/MAX6195 and MAX6198) feature outputs of 1.250V, 2.048V, 2.500V, 4.500V, 5.000V and 4.096V, respectively. Each is available is three grades of output temperature coefficient (5 ppm/ºC, 10 ppm/ºC or 25 ppm/º) with initial accuracy grades of ±2 mV, ±5 mV and ±10 mV, with a 3.000V output version come to be released. Quiescent supply currents are low and virtually immune to input-voltage variations, making these series-mode bandgap references well-suited for battery-powered instruments. All references are available in 8-pin SO packages.
