In a 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.9 mm DFN-8 package, the NCP590 low-dropout (LDO) regulator provides two outputs at 300 mA each. Output voltages range from 0.8V to 5 V. The device is stable with any type of capacitor and under no-load conditions. Set-point output voltage is accurate to within ±0.9% with an operating voltage input up to 5.5V.
