Rail-To-Rail Comparators Offer Output-Stage Options

Jan. 1, 1999
Optimized for single-supply operation from 2.2V to 10V, the MIC7211 and MIC7221 rail-to-rail CMOS voltage comparators have a conventional push-pull output stage (MIC7211) and open-drain output (MIC7221) for use in mixed-voltage applications where an

Optimized for single-supply operation from 2.2V to 10V, the MIC7211 and MIC7221 rail-to-rail CMOS voltage comparators have a conventional push-pull output stage (MIC7211) and open-drain output (MIC7221) for use in mixed-voltage applications where an external pull-up resistor can be used to provide a level-shifted output or for wired-OR outputs. Both devices have an input common-mode range that exceeds the rails. At 2.2V supply current is 7 µA with a response time of less than 4 µs.
