The EM Series of 25W encapsulated dc-to-dc converters has an industry-standard pinout and a metallic case measuring 2" x 2" x 0.45". Power density is 13.98W/in.3. Input voltage ranges are 9 to 18, 18 to 36 or 36 to 72 vdc. The converters provide single or dual balanced outputs of 5, 12 or 15 vdc and triple outputs of 5 and ±12, 5 and ±15, and 5 and 12 and -15 vdc, all at 25W. Other features include regulated outputs, 500 vdc I/O isolation, low output ripple, short-circuit protection, and operating efficiencies as high as 88%.
