Offered in SOT23-5 packaging, the MIC834 ultra-low power comparator IC provides an on-chip precision 1% voltage reference. The device operates from supply voltages ranging from 1.5V to 5.5V and consumes 1 µA. Input and output can be pulled up to 6V regardless of supply voltage.Other features of the comparator include a ±1% voltage threshold accuracy, built-in hysteresis for noise suppression, a 5-µs propagation delay, and immunity to brief input transients. The IC has been optimized for use in PDAs, cell phones, pagers, and other battery-powered products.
