The AAT3258 low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator combines a 300 mA LDO regulator with a microprocessor reset in an 8-pin TSOPJW package measuring 3 mm x 2.85 mm. With a focus on power savings, dropout voltage is 400 mV at the maximum output of 300 mA, and the processor reset consumes 1 µA of quiescent current. Additionally, the device provides over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection and functions with low-cost, low-ESR ceramic capacitors. Pricing starts at $0.76 each/1,000.
