Essentially designed to handle the termination requirements of DDR memory arrays, the FAN6555 switching regulator employs high-efficiency MOSFETs that can endure source and sink currents up to 2A continuous. They can also handle peak current up to 3A at the VTT termination voltage, regulated to ±3% over changing load conditions. The complete device provides built-in functions such as a buffered VREF output, shutdown control for standby mode, and thermal shutdown. Price is $1.79 each/1,000.
