This technology is intended for applications with slow switching or steady loads and internally compensates load and line variations over temperature without the need for a capacitor. By using an exclusive output stage designed on the chip, this technology also offers a unique solution for typical external compensation issues. The chips are micro-power low-dropout voltage regulators that are well suited for near steady-state operating conditions. Both products offer reverse-voltage protection, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and input overvoltage shutdown.
