The SP6123 synchronous buck PWM controller uses dual NFETs to generate a programmable output as low as 0.8 V for an output current up to 10 A. Operating at a fixed frequency of 500 kHz, the controller achieves efficiencies as high as 95% while maintaining its accuracy over a wide range of line, load, and temperature conditions. The IC is packaged in an 8-pin SOIC and requires just a few external surface-mount components.

Cost is $0.96 each in lots of 10,000 pieces.
