The SP6213 low-dropout (LDO) voltage regulator delivers up to 100 mA at 2.7, 2.85, 3.0, 3.3, or 5 V. It comes in the thermally enhanced four-pin SC-70 or in industry-standard three- and five-pin packages. Also, it features a 2.5% output voltage accuracy, a modest quiescent current of 135 µA at full load, and a low dropout of 250 mV at 100 mA. Features include an enable/shutdown pin and full fault protection for overcurrent and thermal-runaway conditions. Available now, the three- and five-pin versions cost $0.29 each, and the thermally enhanced four-pin regulator costs $0.42. All pricing is for 10,000-unit quantities.
