The PFC700 power converter exploits asynchronous technology for the power-factor-corrected input stage and a half-bridge topology after the input to deliver 700 W of output power from an input of 90 to 264 V ac. The unit is rated for 12-V dc output at 60 A (continuous duty). Power factor is corrected to a minimum of 0.98 at full load for the full input range. Combined line and load regulation without sensing is less than ±1% from zero to full load. The unit carries all major international safety approvals. Pricing is $375 each in quantities of one to four.
