A pair of zero-drift amplifiers offers a 2.5-fold reduction in power consumption over existing devices. The LTC2054 and LTC2054HV require a maximum supply current of 175 µA rated over the industrial temperature range, which is critical for optimum battery life in portable systems. The LTC2054 operates from 2.7 to 6 V while the LTC2054HV runs from 2.7 to 11 V, accommodating ±5-V designs. The single-supply op amps provide rail-to-rail output voltage swing and a wide input common-mode range. Prices start at $1 each in lots of 1000.
