With 350 and 500 mA of output current, the AS2955 and AS2945 family of low-dropout voltage regulators are pin-for-pin compatible with National Semiconductor's LP2950 and LP2951 that offer only up to 100 mA output current. Both regulators are adjustable to 3V, 3.3V or 5V at up to 500 mA output. These devices provide a tight initial tolerance from ±0.5% to ±1%. Line or load regulation is as low as ±0.03%. All devices have a 500 mV low-dropout voltage at full load and a typically 12 mA quiescent current at 500 mA load.
