The S-808 and S-809 voltage supervisor ICs are claimed as the world’s physically smallest CMOS voltage detectors. They’re offered in surface-mount micro-flatpacks as small as 2.1 mm x 2.0 mm. Typical applications include CPU input voltage supervision and power monitoring for cellular phones, PDAs and other communication devices. The ICs feature ultra-low power consumption that ranges from 0.8 µA to 1.3 µA. They perform high-precision voltage detection with tolerance of ±2%, operate from a range of 0.7V to 10V, offer a low, 5% hysteresis, and detect fixed voltages from 0.8V to 6V in 0.1V steps. The S-809 offers a built-in delay circuit that can generate an output delay time when connected to an external capacitor. The S-808 comes in miniature packages such as the SC-82AB, TO-92, SOT-89-3 and SOT-23-5. The S-809 comes in the SOT-23-5 package.
