Schottkys In D-Paks Are For High Current Supplies

Sept. 1, 1999
Said to offer the highest current density in the D-Pak form-factor, these Schottky diodes are well-suited for power supplies in the 25W to 50W range and are a space saving upgrade for 10A or 12A D2Pak devices. At 30V, 45V, 60V or 100V, the Schottkys

Said to offer the highest current density in the D-Pak form-factor, these Schottky diodes are well-suited for power supplies in the 25W to 50W range and are a space saving upgrade for 10A or 12A D2Pak devices. At 30V, 45V, 60V or 100V, the Schottkys are configured as dual 6A common cathode devices offering a 12A rated current and high maximum junction temperature of 150°C. Forward voltage drop is 0.34V to 0.61V, which is well-suited for isolated dc-to-dc converter modules, power supplies in portable systems, and for reverse polarity protection in battery-powered systems.
