Said to be the industry's first dc-to-dc converter chipset to use the Intel Mobil Voltage Positioning technology, the ADP3421 and ADP3410 can lower power consumption of an Intel mobile processor. The ADP3421 is an ultra-fast, high-accuracy hysteresis controller, and the ADP3410 is a dual MOSFET driver, which together form a core dc-to-dc converter controller that can power Intel's present mobile processor line and the future Pentium III processor. The ADP3421 comes in a 28-pin TSSOP, and the ADP3410 is in a 14-pin TSSOP.
