The TC1270 and TC1271 4-pin, low-power microprocessor supervisory circuits monitor power supplies in digital systems and provide a reset signal to the host when necessary. They also eliminate the need for external components and are said to be ideal for battery-powered applications. The devices feature a low, 7-µA supply current and 140-ms guaranteed minimum /RESET output duration. The TC1270 has an active-low/RESET output, while the TC1271 has an active-high /RESET output. Both devices are optimized to reject fast transient glitches on the VCC line and are said to be well suited for battery-powered applications, computers, embedded systems, and other critical microprocessor power supply monitoring assignments. Both devices come in space-saving 4-pin SOT-143 packages and are second-source replacements for Maxim's MAX811 and MAX812.
