Designed for digital cellular TDMA applications, the UPG2106TB and UPG173TA miniature PA driver amplifiers feature low voltage, low current operation and low adjacent power leakage to help ensure minimal distortion. In addition, the UPG2106TB features external input and output matching, plus an on-chip variable gain control function, eliminating the need for additional circuitry in the design. Housed in a 2.1 x 2.0 mm, 6-pin super mini-mold S06 package, the UPG2106TB is priced at $1.30 each/1M. In the same quantities, the UPG173TA costs $1.10 each in a 2.8 x 2.9 mm package. Both are available on tape-and-reel for volume manufacturing.
