Claimed to provide the fastest switching speeds of any similarly rated MOSFETs, the company's new line of PowerTrench devices extend performance to 60V, 80V, 100V, 150V and 200V. By applying its open-cell process to higher voltages, the firm claims its FETs can achieve as much as a 30% reduction in on-resistance over planar MOSFET technology. The FDS5670, -3570, -3670, -3570 and -2670 FETs are currently offered in SO-8 and DPAK packages with a variety of on-resistance ratings; TO-220 and TO-263 packaged devices are also available. Depending on the device, pricing ranges from $0.55 to $0.99 each/10,000.
