The MAX803/809/810 microprocessor power supervisory ICs are now available in miniature SC70 packages. Half the size of the SOT package, these devices are designed to monitor microprocessor and digital system power supply rails from 2.5V to 5V. They feature 2.5% reset threshold accuracy over temperature. Should the supply voltage decrease below the threshold, a reset signal is asserted and maintained for at least 140 ms after Vcc returns above the reset threshold. The MAX803 features an open-drain, active-low reset output; the MAX809 includes a push-pull, active-low reset output; and the MAX810 features a push-pull, active-high reset output. These devices consume only 12 µA and the reset outputs are guaranteed valid to 1V. Prices start at $0.94each/2,500 or 10,000 minimum.
