Designed for digital cellular applications, the RF2366 HBT-switchable, low-noise amplifier (LNA) and power amp driver span a 150 MHz to 2.5 GHz operating range and function as a front-end amplifier. When used as an LNA, the bias control can be set externally. When used as a power amplifier driver, the component can operate directly from a single-cell lithium ion battery. The device incorporates an adjustable bias current and a power-down feature that can be used to turn the device completely off. Other features include an integrated low-loss bypass switch, a high intercept point, and a low noise figure. In a SOT23-6 plastic package, the device costs $0.81 each/10,000.
