Optimized for secondary-side synchronous rectification in 48V-input dc/dc converters, the IRL3713 series of 30V MOSFETs provides an on-resistance of 3 M½, half that of the company's previous generation devices. The new FETs are also said to provide up to 1.5% higher efficiencies when used in an isolated dc/dc converter.Three devices in the seriesÑthe IRL3713, IRL3713L and IRL3713SÑare available in TO-220, TO-262 and D2Pak packages, respectively. Other specifications include an ID of 200A, a typical QG of 90, and a typical QGD of 40. Prices: $1.70 (IRL3713S), $1.65 (IRL3713), and $1.75 (IRL3713L) each/10,000.
