Targeting applications with advanced configuration power interface (ACPI) requirements, the W83301R power control IC supports two configuration modes. One mode provides outputs to generate 5V for I/O, 2.5V for DDR/RDRAM, and 1.5V for DDR bus termination. The other mode provides output to generate 5V for I/O, 3.3V for SDRAM, 2.5V for clock generation, and 1.8V for a chip set. As a result, the chip is said to be the only chip on the market that supports both an ACPI controller and a bus termination regulator in a single package. Price is $0.90 each/1,000.
