Supplying the VDDQ core supply and VTT bus termination voltages to DDR-SDRAM, the AQ9260 dual-output voltage controller combines a switching and linear regulator in a MLP-32 package. The synchronous buck controller for VDDQ of the MCH (Memory Controller Hub) features constant on-time regulation, loss-less MOSFET RDS(on) current sensing, over-current protection, and a selectable power-save mode for the VDDQ supply. The linear VTT supply is a low dropout regulator with integrated MOSFETs, capable of sourcing or sinking peak current up to 3A. Price is $1 each/1,000. ARQUES TECHNOLOGY, Santa Clara, CA.
