Offered in 6-lead plastic MLF packages measuring 2 mm x 2 mm, the MIC52xx series low dropout (LDO) regulators are said to be the industry's smallest. The MIC5247, MIC5252, and MIC5255 devices provide a continuous output current up to 150 mA with a low-dropout voltage of less than 150 mV typical at full load. The MIC5219 delivers up to 500 mA of continuous output current with a typical dropout of 300 mV. Prices for the MIC5219, MIC5247, MIC5252, and MIC5255 start at $1.12, $0.47, $0.47, and $0.46 each/1,000, respectively. For further information, call MICREL SEMICONDUCTOR, San Jose, CA.
