In a 3 mm x 3 mm TDFN package measuring 0.8-mm high, the MAX8620Y integrates a 500 mA step-down dc/dc converter, two 300 mA low-dropout linear regulators (LDOs), and a 30-ms reset. The 4-MHz dc/dc converter exhibits efficiency up to 92% and a transient-response time of 100 ns. The LDOs provide 45 µVRMS output voltages that are pin-programmable.
