While achieving an efficiency up to 96% with a fixed switching frequency of 1 MHz, the AS1326 boost converter supplies up to 800 mA of output current and is able to work with input voltages as low as 0.7V. Available in a 10-pin TDFN package measuring

While achieving an efficiency up to 96% with a fixed switching frequency of 1 MHz, the AS1326 boost converter supplies up to 800 mA of output current and is able to work with input voltages as low as 0.7V. Available in a 10-pin TDFN package measuring 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.8 mm, the device provides 620 mA at 5V from two AA cells, or 470 mA at 3.3V from a single cell, and adjustable output voltages from 2.5V to 5V or fixed at 3.3V. Operating voltage is between 0.7V and 5V. Other features include adjustable soft start, current limiting, the ability to synchronize the switching frequency to an external clock between 500 kHz and 1.2 MHz, an automatic power-save function, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
