Switch-Mode Regulator Features Ultra-Wide Input Range

Emerging as the industry’s first high-voltage, monolithic two-switch forward dc/dc regulator, the LM5015 sports an ultra-wide input voltage range from 4.25V to 75V and a maximum switching frequency to 750 kHz. In a 14-pin TSSOP, the device integrates two 75V n-channel MOSFET switches with a minimum 1A peak current limit within its two-switch forward architecture, which reduces system losses and noise. Operating frequency is set via a single resistor and is programmable up to 750 kHz and the oscillator can also be synchronized to an external clock.
