Squeezing four independent voltage outputs into a 48-pin, 6 mm x 6 mm TQFN package, the MAX17019 quad-output controller promises to save both space and costs in automotive applications. Operating with input voltages up to 38V, the device includes a main-stage step-down controller, 3 Ap-p step-down regulator, 5 Ap-p step-down regulator, and a 2A source/sink linear regulator.
