Primed for gaming consoles, set-top boxes, communications, and industrial control equipment, the CAT8710 quad-voltage supervisor consumes 3 mA while operating from a 1.5V to 5.5V supply. Occupying approximately 25% of the same board space as four individual devices, the CAT8710 employs two factory preset thresholds for monitoring 3.3V, 3V, 2.5V, and 1.8V supplies within ±5%. It also provides two user-programmable voltages, adjustable down to 0.6V, via external resistors. Available in a six-pin SOT23, price is $0.56 each/10,000. ON SEMICONDUCTOR, Phoenix, AZ.
