Sync Regulators Deliver 90% Efficiency

The NCP3125, NCP3126, and NCP3127 synchronous PWM switching buck regulators with integrated high side and low side MOSFETs deliver continuous output currents of 2A, 3A, and 4A, respectively.

Optimized for consumer applications such as set-top boxes, DVD/hard disk drives, LCD monitors/TVs, speakerphones, cable modems, and telecom/datacom equipment, the NCP3125, NCP3126, and NCP3127 synchronous PWM switching buck regulators with integrated high side and low side MOSFETs deliver continuous output currents of 2A, 3A, and 4A, respectively. The NCP3125 provides system level efficiencies greater than 90%. All three devices can produce output voltages as low as 0.8V from an input supply of 5V to 12V. They are pin-to-pin compatible and specify an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
