Expanding Semtech’s POL regulator offerings is the highly-integrated, 4A-output SC185 synchronous buck regulator with programmable soft-start in a 3 mm x 3 mm x 0.6 mm package. The device allegedly simplifies power-supply design by integrating the regulator, loop compensation components, power MOSFETs, and MOSFET drivers on one chip.
