The LT3688 dual, 800-mA, 36V input step-down switching regulator integrates a dual power-on reset and a watchdog timer. The device resides in a 4 mm x 4 mm QFN-24 or thermally enhanced TSSOP–24 package. Other features include an input range from 3.8V to 36V, a ripple of less than 25 mVp-p, synchronizable and adjustable 350-kHz to 2.2 -MHz switching frequency, two 800-mA switching regulators with power switches, and programmable input under-voltage lockout with hysteresis.
