The AS1P series low-profile, surface-mount standard, fast, and ultrafast avalanche rectifiers specify a 20-mJ EAS avalanche capability and forward currents up to 4A in SMP and SMPC packages.

The AS1P series low-profile, surface-mount standard, fast, and ultrafast avalanche rectifiers specify a 20-mJ EAS avalanche capability and forward currents up to 4A in SMP and SMPC packages. The AS1Px standard, AR1Px fast, and AU1Px ultrafast rectifiers in SMP packages offer a profile of 1 mm while the SMPC devices sport a profile of 1.1 mm. Each series offers a choice of 200V, 400V, 600V, 800V, or 1 kV reverse voltage ratings, reverse recovery times as low as 75 ns, leakage current down to 0.3 μA, and a junction-to-mount thermal resistance of 5 °C/W for the SMPC rectifiers and 15 °C/W for the SMP rectifiers. Pricing is $0.20 per piece for SMP devices, and $1 per piece for SMPC devices. VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY, INC., Malvern, PA. (619) 336-0860.
