LDO Regulators Trim Power Consumption

July 26, 2011
Specifying a dropout of 220 mV at 1.5A, the AP7362 and AP7363 fixed and adjustable output linear regulators reduce power consumption and increase regulated voltage output stability.

Specifying a dropout of 220 mV at 1.5A, the AP7362 and AP7363 fixed and adjustable output linear regulators reduce power consumption and increase regulated voltage output stability. Their adjustable outputs hold steady irrespective of conditions, varying typically by ±1.5% at 25ºC and ±3% over full line voltage, load, and ambient temperature ranges.  In shutdown mode, quiescent current is 25 nA. The AP7362 in a DFN2030-8 and AP7363 in an SO-8 are available with/without a logic high enable pin. Prices are $0.31 and $0.29 each/10,000, respectively. DIODES INC., Dallas, TX. (972) 385-2810.
