MicroPower Direct’s MPU-300M family of 300-W ac-dc power supplies are medically certified to EN60601 (3rd edition). The series consists of four models operating from a 90- to 264-V ac input, with tightly regulated single outputs of 12, 15, 24 or 48 V dc. Factory-set output ranges from 12 to 52 V dc. Standard features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, dual fused input protection, active power factor correction to EN61000-3-2 D, peak output power to 600 W, reinforced insulation, and 4000-V ac I/O isolation. All models integrate overload, overvoltage, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection. In addition, they offer an ON/OFF control input, 12-V fan output, and ‘Power Good” and “Fan Fail” signals. Mean time between failure is greater than 100 khrs. The MPU-300M family comes in 5.0- by 3.2- by 1.5-in. U-chassis packaging (package options include a finger-safe cover and choice of Molex or terminal block connectors). Operating temperature ranges from 0 to +70°C (ambient).
