Linear Regulated AC-DC Supplies Achieve UL, CE Certification

Feb. 11, 2014
Acopian’s series of mini linear regulated ac-dc power supplies recently received UL recognition and CE approval.

Acopian’s series of mini linear regulated ac-dc power supplies recently received UL recognition and CE approval. The modules feature regulated voltage outputs ranging from 1 to 75 V dc, current up to 2.5 A, and output power ranging from 0.5 to 14 W. Standard input ranges from 105 to 125 V ac, 47- to 420-Hz single phase; an optional 210- to 250-V ac (47 to 420 Hz) input range is available. The supplies offer 3-kV ac isolation, while line and load regulation ranges from ±0.2% to ±0.05% and ±0.05% to ±0.25%, respectively. A thermal barrier runs through each module, isolating heat-generating components from the more sensitive components. Output and ripple noise measure 1 mV. All of the single- and dual-tracking supplies are encapsulated in a 3.5- by 2.5-in., low-profile housing, and feature screw terminal connections. Operating temperature ranges from ‒20 to +71°C without derating; storage temperature ranges from ‒55 to +85°C. Temperature coefficient is 0.015%/°C for 9- to 75-V output, and 0.03%/°C for 1- to 8-V output.
