Microsemi’s PDS-102GO outdoor Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch enables connection of two powered devices to the network via Gigabit uplink, up to 30 W each.

Microsemi’s PDS-102GO outdoor Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch enables connection of two powered devices to the network via Gigabit uplink, up to 30 W each. The IP66-rated switch also allows for remote monitoring and control of the devices’ status, including remote reset. Reach between the switch and powered devices can be extended by an additional 100 meters, to a maximum of 200 meters. Other features include three ports (one data input and two PoE outputs) and remote management via Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and the Web. It supports 10/100/1000-Mbit/s data rates, and incorporates integral surge protection. Operating temperature ranges from ‒40 to +65°C, which complies with 802.3af. Applications include outdoor IP cameras and outdoor point-to-point (P2P) radios.
