High-Voltage Resistor Network Delivers Multi-Configuration Flexibility

Feb. 20, 2014
The MC4 series devices from Ohmite Manufacturing offer a multi-configuration, single surface-mount DIP package with four 2500-V dc resistors.

The MC4 series devices from Ohmite Manufacturing offer a multi-configuration, single surface-mount DIP package with four 2500-V dc resistors. According to the company, one the biggest advantage is design flexibility, as it can be applied in multiple configurations depending on a particular circuit’s needs. It also save costs versus discrete high-voltage chip resistors. Customers can choose any combination of resistor value (from 200 to 5000 W) and tolerance for all four resistors. Upon selection of specifications, Ohmite will complete the design and assign a unique part number. Parts are supplied on tape-and-reel for automated placement. Flexible S-Bend terminal enhance solder joint integrity.
